Created by Robert Hess who named it after the bar he has at his home. A very balanced enjoyable cocktail, but not for the faint of heart. If you like a Manhattan you should try this. Strong, but with a nice melow nature.
- 2 oz Brandy (or Cognac)
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1 dash Angostura Bitter
Put all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill (taste for dilusion). Strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a thin lemon peel.
